Director Alfredo Gómez (SAI USA) will present on behalf of the INTOSAI WGEA at the INTOSAI Side Event at the HLPF 2024: “Auditing for effective, accountable and inclusive public institutions for implementation of SDGs”. The event will take place on 15 July 2024, from 13:00 to 14:30, at the Consulate General of Brazil in New York (address: 225 East 41st Street, New York, United States) and streamed on Zoom.
This event is co-organised by the INTOSAI General Secretariat, the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), the INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA), SAI Brazil and the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations (UN), in collaboration with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA).
Kindly note that the venue has a capacity of 60 attendees and registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. It is also possible to attend online.

The INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) aims to increase the expertise in environmental auditing and to enhance environmental governance with high-quality contribution and visibility by both members of the Working Group and non–member SAIs. Currently the INTOSAI WGEA consists of 86 member countries.
