Jocelyn Blériot joined Ellen MacArthur in 2007, after 12 years spent in the media and publishing industry. Initially in charge of editorial matters at the Foundation (overseeing content development and messaging), he now fully focuses on leading the organisation’s institutional engagement. He notably represents the Foundation at the European Commission, and manages the relationship with governments and supra-national bodies such as the United Nations, the G7 Resource Alliance, the OECD or the World Economic Forum.
Elisa Tonda is the Head of the Consumption and Production Unit in UNEP Economy Division, whose main goal is the promotion of sustainable production and consumption policies, practices and initiatives through the engagement of governments, the business community and civil society organizations. The Unit is the organizational focal point for circular economy initiatives and projects. Prior to that, Elisa worked in UNEP Office for Latin America and the Caribbean and in the UN Industrial Development Organization. Before joining the UN, she worked in the private sector in the promotion of environmental solutions. Elisa has a Master degree in Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, Italy, and in Sustainable Development from the University of London, UK.
Jyrki Katainen is the President of Sitra.
Jyrki Katainen’s career has focused on analysing societal change, finding solutions and decision-making. Before his appointment as the President of Sitra, Katainen was the European Commission Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness.
Prior to the Commission, he has held the positions of Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. During his 15 years as a Member of the Finnish Parliament he has chaired the Committee for the Future among other appointments.
Saara Kankaanrinta is an environmental influencer with many tools: she is Chair and Co-Founder of Baltic Sea Action Group -foundation, Carbon Action platform and Co-Founder of Soilfood Ltd and Q Power Ltd. She is a board member of Sulapac Ltd. Kankaanrinta also owns the oldest manor of Finland, Qvidja Research Farm, together with her husband. She is a member of global eco-networks related to soil carbon sequestration and ecosystem restauration and human health. Kankaanrinta has been awarded personal Medal of Honour at the Globe Energy Award.

David Le Blanc works in the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government in the UN Secretariat, where he leads analytical work on public institutions and public administration in the era of the Sustainable Development Goals. From 2006 to 2017, he was in the Division for Sustainable Development in the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. While there, he worked in support of the Commission on Sustainable Development, the Rio+20 conference, and the high-level political forum on sustainable development. Before joining the UN, he worked at the World Bank as Senior Economist in the Urban and Housing Finance groups. Earlier in his career, he worked at the French National Statistical Institute (INSEE) as Head of the National Housing Survey and Head of Regional Studies in the Rhone-Alpes regional office of INSEE, and at CREST, Paris as a research fellow.

Dr. Christian Kroll is the Scientific Co-Director of the SDG Index and Dashboards, a research project on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (annual report written with UN Special Advisor Jeffrey Sachs as lead author). He was honoured as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2018. Christian works as Senior Expert for Sustainable Development at Bertelsmann Stiftung. He authored numerous articles in scientific journals spanning several disciplines and policy-oriented reports, including "Sustainable Development Goals: Are the rich countries ready" with a foreword by Kofi Annan. He is also a Guest Lecturer at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, he taught classes at the London School of Economics and held academic positions at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government as well as Jacobs University Bremen. Christian gained a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a thesis entitled "Towards a Sociology of Happiness". His research has featured in national and international media such as the Harvard Business Review, Washington Post, Le Monde, Die Zeit, ARD, Spiegel Online among others.
