Following the discussions and decisions at the INTOSAI WGEA 10th Steering Committee Meeting in  Marrakech, Morocco in March 2011, the document Guide for Project Leaders: How to Develop a Guidance Material in Environmental Auditing (2009) has been updated so that it would also include advice and recommendations on how to develop research projects:

Guide for Project Leaders: How to Develop a Research Paper or a Guidance Material in Environmental Auditing, March 2011

The Secretariat has composed a guide for developing training materials for the project leaders to have a point of reference as to the underlying principles and desired structure and format of training materials. The guide is based largely on INTOSAI Development Initiative's long-term practice and extensive guidelines on the training field.
